5 Mom inspired driving tips

Have you ever thought about the difference in the way you drive and how you car reacts in the summer and winter months?  When the sun is shining, the rain, and in some parts of the US snow!  Winter driving is much different to me than driving in the summer and your car reacts differently also.  Here are a few tips on Safe driving in the winter.

1.  You want to get your car serviced regularly.  This affects the way your car runs and also will save you money in gas.  I have a list of things that should be serviced regularly:
   A. oil change every 3000 miles
   B. Have belts checked and changed as needed
   C. Water in radiator and winterized before winter
   D. Windshield wipers should be checked and keep in good working order
   E. Tires should have good tread and correct air pressure
   F. Brakes should be checked and serviced, you don't want to be without brakes

2.  Don't speed or follow too closely.  I live in Goldsboro NC and we don't get alot of snow however, we do get ice, hail, sleet, and freezing rain.  With these conditions you get alot of ice patches on the road and you don't see them until it is too late.  So drive the posted speed limit and avoid following someone to o close.  If for some reason they have to slam on brakes you want to have enough room to stop and not have an accident.

3.  Know where you are.  Especially in the winter because it gets darker earlier and if you were to have an accident you want to be able to give good directions to where you are located.  If you are traveling stay to the as much as the main highway as possible.

4.  Don't talk, text, and drive.  If the conversation is that important then pull over at at gas station to talk.  There has been a great number of accidents from people thinking they've got under control and then lose it.  Let's not be a statistic for the negative but yet teach others the positives.

5.  Wear your seat belt and don't allow others to be horse playing while you are driving.   So many times we are distracted by others playing and radios too loud.  We need to have set rules for everyone in the vehicle and stick to them.  Remember your safety and the safety of others is and should be one of your top priorities.  If you stay safe chances are you will arrive to your destination in one piece.

While there are so many other tips on safe driving I also have a small list here that I use regularly.  This is a list of items I try to keep in my car at all times because I never know when I am going to break down, and how long it will take for someone to get there to help me.

  A.  Blanket to stay warm
  B.  Water for drinking and car in case it overheats
  C.  Snacks
  D.  Flashlight
  E.  Spare tire  and air compressor
  F.  Deicer
  G.  Chains - if you live where it snows
  H.  Cell Phone
  I.  Battery charger, jumper cables
  J.  First aide kit

Criminal Lawyers in CA

Have you ever done something stupid or know someone who has?  I guess in a way we all have at some point.  Do you ever wander really what makes us do some of the things that we do?  I do, and I have looked into a few.  There is a California Criminal Lawyer, that is great and will help you out if you or someone you know is in this situation.

I have a son and a daughter that are both diagnosed with ADHD and alot of the times they do things that a normal child would not do.  For example, all children will tell you a lie but an ADHD child will do it much more often, almost as if they have no control over the situation.  If you ask them why did you do that, the response I get every time is "I don't Know".  It angers me because I too am ADHD and I think it is actually harder for me to deal with their problems while trying to deal with mine.  ADHD is a disorder that is very troublesome because I really do believe the children and adults alike suffer from problems socially and mentally that in the end cause them to get involved with the wrong people, or do stupid things. Los Angeles criminal defense lawyer agree that maybe there is more to it.

My son which is now 13 years old has progressed into his problems.   He has gone from telling lies about any and everything to stealing.  As far as we know it has been minimal or at least maintained to the family.  Last summer he stole about $2,000.00 from my parents in gold coins, jewelry, and cash.  I was devastated when I found out and I made him take everything he took from them back to their house and explain his self.  The best answer would could get from home was that him and his cousin were going to take the money and buy stuff with it, and of course sell the jewelry for cash!  Since then I have tried really hard to pay much more attention to what he is doing and I ask myself why, on everything!  If I can't come up with an answer I approach him.  ADHD is a very serious disorder that should not be taken lightly, and if you or someone you know is ADHD then please seek the medical attention you need.  With proper attention you can live a fulfilled life without Crime!

Ed Gein Serial Killer or Not?

this is a photo of Ed Gein

Warning at this point in this post there are some very Gruesome Crime Scene photos that some will find offensive and others may not...However if you do not wish to see these photos please leave NOW!

Ed Gein was a man that was only convicted of killing 3 people but was marked as a serial killer.  He had more of a history of going to freshly buried graves of both men and women and digging up their bodies.  When I think of a grave robber I think of someone stealing jewels and other valuables from our deceased, however that wasn't what Ed Gein had in mind.  His jewels and valuables were body parts.  He claimed he never had sex with any of the bodies because they smelt so bad, at least something he says makes a little sense.

Ed Gein inspired a few of our favorite horror movies today, like Psycho, Leather Face, and Silence of the Lambs.  He wanted to become a woman and so he decided to make his own woman suit by killing women and taking their skin to make it his self.

When the officers arrived at ed Geins house they found a female decaputaed, upside down with a crowbar between her ankles and gutted like a hog.

This is thought to be Ed Geins last victim!

Once they went into his house they found a numerous of items!
  • Four noses
  • Whole human bones and fragments
  • Nine masks of human skin
  • Bowls made from human skulls
  • Ten female heads with the tops sawed off
  • Human skin covering several chair seats
  • Mary Hogan’s head in a paper bag
  • Bernice Worden’s head in a burlap sack
  • Nine vulva's in a shoe box in which admitted to wearing
  • Skulls on his bedposts
  • Organs in the refrigerator
  • A pair of lips on a draw string for a window shade
  • A belt made from human female nipples
  • A lampshade made from the skin from a human face

  •
    Human mask

This is the bowls used by ed gein made from human skulls!
What makes a serial killer?  Is it the number of victims, or just the thought process put into the crime?  This is a man that had his first orgasms when he first watched a hog get dressed out!  He had an infatuation with dismantling human bodies...
What are your thoughts on this?
