With a title like Deskercise I am sure you are asking yourself What the heck is she talking about? Well, it is like this! I have an exercise program for anyone that blogs, or does any kind of desk work for long periods of time. You may or may not work at a desk but the program really works for anyone.
Since I have been using this program (the last 2 weeks), I can't say that I have lost any weight, however I seem to have more energy, feel more like getting things done and wanting to play more with my girls! While keeping in shape is very important to me, I think being able to move and spend time with my family is so much more important! With this program I feel more like I am in my 30's rather than in my 50's.
A little about me and how I exercise! 1. I am not a very motivated person to get up and work out. I run a 2 year old and a 4 year from 6:30 AM to 4 PM, then I still have the 4 year old and trade the 2 yr old for an 8 year old. So by the time I am done with what I have to get done during the day, working out is not even close to being on my mind. and 2. I hate the thought of working out alone, period! With this program I have found that the email alerts that I get are a motivation to get up and at least stretch, and because it is a points based system, you don't feel alone. You don't spend hours woking out, or going to the gym. You just have to get up and do about 5 minutes of exercise and it really does make you feel better!
Because the great people at Break Pal has given me this opportunity, I have a one year subscription for one of my readers. It is simple to do and makes you feel so much better. How many times have we made the New Year's resolution to get into shape, start at the gym and after a few weeks quit. Now you can do this at home or even at work. Good Luck to my readers, just register using Rafflecopter!

My Thoughts:
Have you ever been really needing something but you really don't know what it is you need? Well, I have been seriously going through some really bad times. Nothing I did seem to make it better and I just really felt like God wasn't listening to me anymore. I started reading the book and before I could even get off of the first page, I was already getting my answers. It is amazing how God works in our lives. In reality he was listening to me but I just wasn't listening to what he had to say back. Maybe, just maybe I didn't like what he was saying. This reminds me of something John says in the "Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons". This one line in the book has so much meaning because we as children were punished by our parents when we done wrong. Even though we were punished we were done so because they loved us otherwise they could have cared less what we did. God is the same way, he punishes us because he loves us and wants us to do better!
This book has just been a blessing in disguise for me and I am sure that if you read it, that it will be a blessing for you too. For one of my lucky readers I have a copy to give away. Just follow the Rafflecopter and Good Luck.
