This would be a great Easter gift for your kids to use up that sugary energy rather than a basket full of Sugar!

Radio Flyer Bicycle
As a child we can all remember our first bicycle, or maybe we can't. I don't know that I remember my first bike but I have vivid memory of a bicycle I got one year for Christmas. I was probably about 11 years old and I woke up to a brand new bicycle for Santa Clause. My parents would not allow me to go ride it outside because it was about 2:30 AM. I was so excited about my new bike I rode it back and forth in the house until everyone else got up that morning. Once my parents got up, and allowed me to take my new bike out I rode all day long.
I have this bike here that my Aunt gave to my little girl. She is 2 years old and when we received it, it was all rusted up, and pedals were missing. My husband took it back to the shop and spent about 5 days working on cleaning it up and repainting it. As you can see it is a Radio Flyer bicycle with training wheels. I do not know the year of it but would love to. I have researched every where online and can't find this particular bike anywhere! I know the history of the bike it belonged to my Uncle's first son Graham whom would be at least in his 40's now. Unfortunately Graham passed away at a very young age and my Uncle had this under a shelter for all these years. This bike has alot of sentimental value to me because 1 it was passed down in my family and 2 I never Knew Graham.
If you know about what year this bike is please leave a comment below, I would love to get more info on it.
UPDATE
I was able to get in contact with the Radio Flyer Customer Service and they have provided me with this info, it is really now just for your enjoyment and info.

We found out this is a MB 52 Mini Bike originally made in 1936 - 1940 and once again made in 1988. If you have antique RF you can contact the Customer Service department and they are great. The service I received was over the top, and beyond what they had to do. The rep. I spoke with was very friendly and answered more questions than what i had, she also emailed me spec sheets that she had.

Summer Fun
If everyone is like me they are ready to see more Spring flowers, the pollen gone, feel the sand under their feet, and the warm sun on their face. It is April and the old saying is April Showers bring May flowers... I am ready.
I enjoy going camping, fishing, riding dirt bikes, and just spending quality time outdoors with my Family. It is very difficult to do many of these things while the kids are in school because they don't get home until 3:30 and 4;15 PM. By the time they get home it is almost time to get them feed, showered and in the bed. Oh, let's not forget homework, that is something my kids wish I would forget all the time.
In the summer once the kids are out of school I enjoy going to our property and camping. It just takes so much for us to get there (and we only live 20 minutes away), that I am exhausted by the time we get there. I have even tried loading up everything I can possibly load up the day before like the tents, and sleeping bags. It never fails I always forget to take something too. And it is usually something that I needed to cook with or just cant make it without. Luckily my husbands parents live closer than we do so we run to their house and get it and there is a store about 10 mins. away in case we need more food.
We have about 100 acres and we are surrounded completely by woods. There is a clearing in the middle and we always set up tent just inside the inner edge of the woods. The kids enjoy it because they can run all day I believe and never hit the same piece of property twice in one day. We can take the dirt bikes, and four wheelers and they can ride, and then there is the little pond over in the corner that we go fishing.
Seems like once we get set up, and I am cooking supper we actually start to have a great time.
What are some of the things that you and your family enjoy doing in the summer together?

Little Switches that make a Diffrence
When I think about Change, it makes me think of my childhood. Just in my 34 years of life of have seen alot of changes from People, to places around me. Although I lived in the same house the first 18 years of my life I still seen changes going on all around me. As a Family we didn't do an extreme amount of travel but we did go outside of the state on occassions, so I go t to see how diffrent people live and how diffrent the world around us really is.
One of the things that comes to mind when I think of change is I saw a picture of me in high school and then I look at me now! The changes like the length of my hair and maybe the color is diffrent, I look like a diffrent person. I beleive that haveing a diffrent Attitude, can make a diffrence in people. Have you ever meet someone that was really quiet and shy and then the next time you see them they talk to you. They generally seem to be a little happier and more out going than they did when they were shy and bottled up. I myself in school diffrent hang out with alot of people but since graduating High school I have changed the way I approach people. Some would say now you can't shut her up. But people seem to be more at ease around me.
There are some things in my life that I would like to change. I have been married for 2 years and we have 4 children together. My son is the oldest at 12 and i have a daughter that is 7, both from a previous relationship. My husband also has a 7 year old daughter from a previous relationship, and together we have a 2 year old together. We never really got a chance to date before getting married, but what small detail I have left out is that I married my high school sweetheart. He was the first guy I ever really dated, and I miss being able to just go out to the maovies or just go to the park and talk. I love my children and enjoy spending every wakeing moment with them, but I would enjoy maybe one night a month that was designed just for me and my husband. Maybe just a few hours would nice. I would love to go to an ADULT restaraunt and not also have to eat burgers because we have the kids.
Cottonelle is also offering little switches that make a big diffrfence in toiliet paper. To check it out and get More info about the Cottonelle Ultra Switch: www.CottonelleUltraSwitch.com.

My Favorite PEEPS Moments
As a child we did not get candy everyday like my children do now! It was usually a special occasions like in your stocking at Christmas, the Easter bunny left it in your basket, or as an extra treat for birthdays. I remember getting up on Easter morning early because me and my sisters just really wanted to see what did the Easter bunny bring this year? It was just about as much fun as Santa Clause to tell you the truth.
Our parents would always fix our baskets and always included PEEPS candy. I don't remember there being anything but bunnies when I was little but I know that now they have chicks too! But i would take the bunnies and bite the head off and we would play games with them.
As an Adult/Mother I still carry on the tradition of putting these cute little critters in my little ones basket for them, every year! I enjoy baking cakes but I have the decorating abilities of a Monkey! I know it is sad but true. I come up with really cute ideas but can;t seem to get them to come out to look good on my cakes, so I look for other creative ways to decorate my cakes. I have found that you can take the Peeps candies and use them and people just think you are awesome!
I had what I thought was wonderful idea last year. I said to myself, Jennie why can't you put the Peeps in those little plastic Easter eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt? Do you know why you can't do that? Well, let me tell you what happened. In the South around Easter we have very Sunny and Warm days around Easter. Yeas, the bunnies swelled up inside the eggs and it was a mess. They were fun to watch my kids try to eat, but I didn't think I would ever get the marshmallow off of EVERYTHING! I guess as an adult that has to be the best moment I had with Peeps.
And now if you don't like the traditional sugar coated peeps they have all kinds of chocolate covered Peeps. I haven't tried these yet but plan on adding them in the baskets just so I can!
