I have a ankle length, sleeveless dress with Owls all over it.  I love it, it is actually from the summer design but I have found that if I wear a light jacket it works great for the Fall.  I wore my dress to Church and everyone loved it.  It stood out and is made of the utmost greatest quality.  I have not ordered many things in the last few years that I received the quality of material and design that I received with eShakti.  If you are built on the thin side or maybe you have curves in all the wrong places, it is NO problem.  Eshakti will custom design your dress to fit you.  I am 5 foot 8 inches tall, and very slender.  You would think that I could wear anything because I am small, but that is not the case.  Dresses tend to just hang on me, and don't seem to have or show any style on me at all.  That wasn't the case with this dress.  It not only fits beautifully but, it also gave me curves that were amazing.  Most of the dresses are remiances of the past and can be tailored to for the modern woman.  They have sizes ranging from 0 to 26W, and when you order them online you will see your dress within a week.

Again, I must say that I love my dress and ask that each of my readers to please go by and look and their collection.  They anything from formal wear, to what I call conversation pieces.  They are fun, flirty, stylish, and comfortable.  Go visit their sight and come back and let me know what you think, I would love to hear your opinions on the different styles.

I love nothing more than to go to a concert or an outdoor event.  I think they are fun and can be very enjoyable for the entire family.  Do you ever plan your own outdoor events and think that having proper event supplies and concession machines wold make things so much easier.  We have family gatherings and pretty good size parties often and we are always in need of something we don't have.  With this in mind check it out, you can get everything you need for any event big or small.
Looking at the stats up is kind fo amazing, who would have ever thought that there were such things!  I guess to some degree though it makes sense, I had much rather go to a concert when it was warm than when it was  cold.  How about you?

~The Sparkle Box Review and Giveaway~

Author Bio
Author Jill Hardie and her family began placing a gift for Jesus under their Christmas tree as a way of bringing more meaning to the holiday.  The first time they opened His gift, the commercialism of the season melted away and they felt a profound joy and peace.  Jill hopes that The Sparkle Box will spark a new Christmas tradition, bringing light into thousands of lives.

Illustrator Bio
At a very early age, Christine Kornacki developed a love for painting and bringing stories to life.  After receiving a BFA in illustration from the University of Hartford, her dreams of illustrating children's books began to take shape.  She spends her days painting in her studio, which adjoins a charming cafe in New Haven, Connecticut.
My Thoughts

I have a 4 year old and an 8 year old, and they both really enjoyed reading the book.  There is a lesson to be learned in this book and for the 8 year old it taught her about the spirit of Christmas and giving.  The 4 year old however really just enjoyed looking at the sparkle box and reading the story.
This is a very touching story about a little boy and his family who do things for people without wanting for anything.  The gift of kindness and looking for nothing in return!  I can't spoil the book for you by telling you the story, but I will have to tell you that it is a great story and the BONUS is you get your very own sparkle box with the book!

Now for one of my readers chance to win their very own copy of "The Sparkle Box".  Good luck and you WILL NOT be disappointed, I promise!

Who said the South won't just FuN!

This is an email I received and I thought this was great to share with my readers, so here goes...  Leave me a comment and let me know what you think, and in case you are wandering I am from NC!

This is the way we did it here in North Carolina!

Georgia

The owner of a golf course in Georgia was confused about paying an invoice,

so he decided to ask his secretary for some mathematical help.
He called her into his office and said, "Y'all graduated from the  University of

Georgia and I need some help.  If I wuz to give yew $20,000, minus 14%, how much

would you take off?"
The secretary thought a moment, and then replied, "Everthang but my earrings."

Louisiana
A senior citizen in Louisiana was overheard saying: "When the end of the world comes,

I hope to be in Louisiana." When asked why, he replied, "I'd rather be in Louisiana 'cause everythang happens in Louisiana 20 years later than in the rest of the world."

Mississippi
The young man from Mississippi came running into the store and said to his buddy,

"Bubba, somebody just stole your pickup truck from the parking lot!" Bubba replied,

"Did y'all see who it was?" The young man answered, "I couldn't tell, but I got the license

number."

North Carolina
A man in North Carolina had a flat tire, pulled off on the side of the road, and proceeded

to put a bouquet of flowers in front of the car and one behind it. Then he got back in the

car to wait. A passerby studied the scene as he drove by, and was so curious he turned around

and went back. He asked the fellow what the problem was. The man replied, "I got a flat tahr."
The passerby asked, "But what's with the flowers?"
The man responded, "When you break down they tell you to put flares in the front and flares

in the back. I never did understand it neither."

Tennessee
A TennesseeState trooper pulled over a pickup on I-65.  The trooper asked, "Got any ID?"
The driver replied, "Bout whut?"

Texas
The Sheriff pulled up next to the guy unloading garbage out of his pick-up into the ditch.

The Sheriff asked, "Why are you dumping garbage in the ditch?  Don't you see that sign right

over your head?""Yep," he replied.  "That's why I'm dumpin' it here, 'cause it says: 'Fine For Dumping Garbage.' "

Y'all kin say whut y'all want 'about the South, but y'all never heard o' nobody retirin' an' movin' North

Glade Expressions® Review

As a #bzzzagent I received a free full size sample of the Glade Expressions ® fragrance mist and an oil diffuser.  I must say that when I went to get my pick of scent all I could find was the pineapple mango mix.  I thought that did not sound like a great mix to me, but I tried it anyway.  After trying it for a few days I feel in love!  It isn't over powering, but it is just enough that when you walk in the door you can smell the sweet fragrance.
In my home we have 2 birds, a ferret, a rabbit and fish, and these Glade Expressions ® work to even keep the pet odors at bay.  If you haven't already, you need to go try them now!  I am not a huge fan of fragrances in my home but I will be sticking this one!

Best time to Garden? Now!

When you think about working in the garden, most people think Spring.  The weather is warming up and after being indoors for what seems to be the longest winter ever, you just want to get outside.  However, in the Fall the weather is starting to cool off, and the bugs are no where near as bad now as they were in the summer.  The weeds and some flowers are also starting to die off for the Winter.

In the picture above you will see my 4 year up beside my Banana tree.  It is just huge in comparison to her and it has to be dug up before our first frost.  This is one of the Fall projects I get to enjoy.  I also like to take this time of year and pull out any unwanted weeds that may be there in the garden and surrounding the beds.

Another biggie is composting.  Not composting yet?  No problem it is never too late to start your own compost bin at home and start feeding that soil.  I usually take the leaves and pin straw in the fall when we rake them up and place it in my compost bin and around my flowers in the flower bed.  I have a few flowers that just keep coming back year after year though they are perennials. The funniest thing about my flowerbed is that all I have is SAND, not the good stuff but the sandy sand.

There are things that can and can not be put into a compost bin, simply because you don't want unwanted bugs, pests, and animals evading in.  Meat is one of the biggest things you don't want to use because it rots, and smells really bad.  It also attracts animals that you don't want.  The best things to put into a compost bin are your scraps like, leaves, twigs, (yard waste) egg shells, peelings from your kitchen,  and tea and coffee grounds.  All of these items add nutrients to the bin and make for beautiful plants weather it is a flower garden or vegetable garden.

You just want to make sure you add a little dirt to the compost bin and keep it watered (not soaked, lightly moist) and keep it turned.  By turning the bin it keeps everything moving and allows everything to compost at much better rate.  This is an easy thing to do, it is GREEN, and prevents extra waste in your home.

Do you have pics of your fall beds, or have any other ideas for Fall planting?  Please share them with us, we love to learn new things and I promise I don't know everything there is about flowers.  I always love to hear about the ways other people do things and learn from them!
