~Needle Work Book Review~

Needle Work is a book written by Fred Rosen.  He was a columnist with the New York Times and then became a True Crime Writer.  He has written many true crime books by the titles: Flesh Collector, Body Dump, Lobster boy, and tracking Serial Predators.  There are many other books and only  a few listed here!

Needle Work is a story of a drug user, her crack man, his wife, her lover, and the family caught in the middle.  Nancy is a drug user but has a heart of gold and would do anything she could to help anyone in need.  Jessie is her Drug dealer, who meets 15 year old Carol.  Jessie and Carol have 2 children out of wedlock before they marry.  Then there is Tim who falls in love with Carol, partakes in drug use himself, and a master mind to many things.  He is a proclaimed gang member from California and has killed 7 people there!  This is a True story but some names have been changed to keep the privacy of family and friends involved.  However this story was based on suspects and witnesses statements, crime scene photos, notes, and interviews with local officials involved.

Tim and Carol actually commit THE PERFECT CRIME and probably would have never been caught, but as in most cases something happens and you must read to find out.  This has been one of the best books I have ever read and, I would reccommend this to anyone.  Needle Work also ha a bonus of 16 pages of crime cene photos, and it help you really undertand the extent of the damamge.

If you are interested in buying this book, it can be purchased from Amazon, or Barnes and Nobles!
